Our first time on the beach after hearing that it was used by Spitfires during WW2 as training practice. We started off east of the lighthouse and despite lots of signals, found nothing. Played a bit of rugby and football and the wandered west of the lighthouse. Met other detectorists who advised where to look and helped us by lending us a pinpointer. We found 2 bullets and Ted asked if he could have a 3rd for Dad so he didn't feel left out.
